excellent for visiting liberation square. the room had a great balcony. 10 minutes walk to a bus stop. useful base for discovering saint helier.

We could have lunch in Champagne Lounge set within 400 metres. We loved the balcony, it was large. It took 25 minutes to reach St Aubin's on foot.

Perfect location, great breakfast and a very friendly staff: everything is just right here. Fast Internet, free parking and a large room with a view of the harbour: this has (over)fulfilled expectations.

Good breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff... Central, although somewhat noisy location of the hotel.

You had to climb three steps to the bathroom. It was very tight. There was little room to take a shower in the bathtub because the toilet was in front of it.

The hotel is clean and has a good spa/pool facility.

We stayed for 7 nights in a Park View room but had a good view of the bay. We were glad of that as the front of the hotel faces 7 lanes of traffic on one of St Heliers main routes. In the afternoons the area suffers from an unpleasant smell as the tide goes out, that and to proximity to traffic put us off using outside dining facility. When we booked we noticed the Booked.net offer of a free evening meal if staying more then 3 nights, redemeable by code or phone. So after a few days stay we asked to take up the offer, reception said they were unsure and would leave us a message, they did not, when asked again they declined saying it way only valid if claimed on booking. We felt as we were staying so long and paying standard rate this was very petty of them, so we decided not to use evening dining at the hotel at all. Breakfast service is a little lacking, first day we ordered a poached egg to order and it took 40 minutes, so we just used the buffet after that. You have to order pots of tea and these took a very long time to come ie +15 mins and had to be chased up on two of the days. Parking is a squeeze but staff help, except Saturday night when due to a function being held at the hotel I had to park overnight across the other side of the park in a public car park, so residents do not get priority. Overall we felt the hotel was good, the only bad points mentioned above and the rooms are adequate but not as large as we would have expected for the price.

En-suite so small you could barely close the door.The door could not fully open as it would hit the hand basin!

Warm friendly staff that were very helpfull in any questions that i had about the area and where to go. Reasonably priced for beverages and food.

Had a draight from our park view room on the 3rd floor (331) coming from the patio doors.

I enjoyed using the spa facilities, and the food was excellent.

The staff at the Grand Jersey were exceptional. Throughout our stay I can say we did not have one complaint during our week. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until the time that we left. The food was lovely, breakfast service was wonderful and room service was a real treat!

The Spa was fully booked quite often and it was very difficult to book treatments, however this is merely because the Spa is very good and it only reminded us to book in advance next time!

The hoel staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help - they appeared to really enjoy their emplyment.

Everything was fine - one of the best htoel stays I've had for a long while
